Coming soon…

So I was given the opportunity to bring out my enchanted forest for one final time (for 2016) this afternoon as it was especially requested by three lovely fairies. Faith, Katie-Ann and Lexie brought their mam and gran along for their sparkly shoot dressed in the most beautiful dresses. And they made me laugh from start to finish 🙂 Nine year old Faith was the quietest of the three sisters and looked sooooo cute with her curls and glasses! Four year old Katie-Ann was an absolute sweetheart and was definitely the most natural in front of the camera. And last but not least, the baby of the group, three year old Lexie was the most feisty sister 😀 As soon as she set foot in the studio, she asked me to move out of her way so she could go and look at the rest of the house!! And she had me in stitches with her demands for the rest of the shoot! I really enjoyed working with this lovely bunch today 🙂

So today I was given a second chance to work with a lovely little family when eleven month old Osian brought his parents back to see me this afternoon. Now this wasn’t the first time I met this family but it was the first time we got to complete a shoot! Because when Osian was first born, his parents brought him along for a newborn shoot with me BUT he refused to cooperate that day bless him 🙁 So it was a real treat for me to get another go with him today and he smashed it – literally! Osian is such a sweet natured little boy with the cutest little grins, although he kept them to himself for the majority of the shoot. He really enjoyed the cake smash although wasn’t bothered about eating much of it! A fab way to end the weekend 🙂  **cake courtesy of Cakes By Helzbach**

My weekend started off in the studio with a lovely bunch of girlies and their mam. Ayesha, Chloe and Ella were full of beans when they arrived this morning although six year old Chloe was definitely the quietest – for all of five minutes 😀 Her mam even said that she never relaxes so quickly around strangers usually! Thirteen year old Ayesha was a complete natural in front of the camera and was brilliant with her two younger sisters. The youngest of the gang, five month old Ella took the whole shoot in her stride although she did insist on a milk break halfway through 😉 Chloe was certainly the boss of the three siblings though and once she was done, that was it! Apparently the shoot had been pretty “annoying” but at least she gets cheesecake later on for cooperating 😀

Another teething toddler came to the studio this afternoon when Mila brought parents, mam and big sister Crystal along for her cake smash. As with yesterday’s little client, all Mile wanted was her mam today but as long as she had her, she was happy enough! Which caused a slight problem as Mila’s mam didn’t want to be in any of the photos 😀 Mile, who will be one tomorrow, posed beautifully for her starter shots where she was joined by besotted Crystal. But she wasn’t fussed on taking more than a few dips into her cake so that didn’t distract her for very long 🙁 And once she was done with it, the cake was not her friend! **cake courtesy of Cakes By Helzbach**

Today’s smasher was a little bit of a sad chap as the dreaded teething was bugging him 🙁 When he first arrived, it was clear to see that Zayne is a Mami’s boy and he didn’t want to stray too far from her. He let us take his photos for a while but with his teeth giving him pain, Zayne really wasn’t too bothered about taking part in his cake smash 🙁 He did dismantle some of the icing balls from around the side of the cake though so we managed to get some shots….Poor Zayne….**cake courtesy of Cakes By Helzbach**
